The Mayfield Dinner Theatre has a line-up with one thing for everybody! The season opens with Musicians Gone Wild, this time with a concentrate on Laurel Canyon. Creative Director, Van Wilmott, says “it’s all about that music, paying homage to the scene that began there – it was such a second in time. On this present, the performers are usually not actors, they’re all musicians telling the story.” Elvis followers will clamour for One Night time with the King, “which was a Covid-casualty, a play written throughout that point that needed to be cancelled,” says Wilmott. Grease will return, adopted by On Golden Pond, a poignant story certain to talk to grandparents, their grownup youngsters, and grandkids.
